Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) govern access to and use of the application, website, and services offered under the Vizir brand (the “Service”). The Service is operated by Vizir (the “Operator,” “we,” “us”). By using the Service — installing the app, creating an account, activating a license key, or paying for a plan — you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of the Service
Vizir is an app for macOS and Windows that performs real-time speech recognition during a conversation (system audio and microphone), shows a live transcript, and — at the user's request — generates hints and possible solutions using artificial intelligence models. Answers appear on a floating overlay that can be excluded from screen capture, and can be mirrored to a second device (the “companion”). The Service is provided “as is” and keeps evolving — the set of features and plans may change.
2. Who may use it
Only individuals who are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract may use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements and that your use of the Service does not violate any laws that apply to you.
3. Account and license
To access the Service, you create an account (via Telegram or with an email and password) and receive a license key. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity carried out under your account.
We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal purposes. One license key works on one device. You may not:
- transfer, resell, rent out, or publish your license key or account access;
- use a single key on multiple devices to get around the limits;
- decompile, reverse-engineer, bypass, or crack the licensing and protection mechanisms;
- place automated load on, or otherwise abuse, the server infrastructure and proxied AI services.
4. Acceptable use and your responsibility
Vizir is a general-purpose tool for speech recognition and AI assistance. It is intended for lawful use: preparing for interviews, self-review and practice, taking notes, language support, accessibility, and educational purposes.
Important. You — and you alone — are responsible for how you use the Service. Many interviews, exams, certifications, and employers set their own rules, and you may also be bound by non-disclosure agreements or other obligations. Complying with the rules of a specific interview, employer, school, or platform, as well as with applicable law, is entirely on you. Using the Service in breach of such rules is done at your own risk. The Operator does not encourage cheating, fraud, or violating third parties' rules, and is not responsible for the consequences of such use.
You may not use the Service for anything unlawful, to harm others, or in ways that could create liability for the Operator.
5. Plans, payment, and subscription
Current plans and limits are published in your dashboard and on the “Pricing” page. At sign-up you may be offered a free trial, limited by duration and by the number of speech-recognition minutes, so you can try the Service.
Paid plans are set up:
- By card — through a subscription with the payment provider Tribute, with automatic renewal. You can cancel the subscription at any time; access remains until the end of the paid period, after which renewal stops.
- In crypto (USDC) — as a one-time payment for a period; such payments are final and non-refundable given the nature of blockchain transactions.
The speech-recognition minute limit is counted per paid period according to your chosen plan. We may change the set of plans, prices, and limits; changes do not affect the current period you have already paid for. Payments are processed by third-party providers — we do not receive or store your bank card details.
6. Refunds
The Service is a digital product to which access is granted immediately. The free trial is provided specifically so you can evaluate the Service before paying. Once a paid period has started, fees for access already provided are generally non-refundable; crypto payments are non-refundable. If you run into a technical problem that made the Service unavailable, contact us and we will review your request on a case-by-case basis. Cancelling a subscription stops future charges but does not refund payment for the current period.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without any warranties, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of speech recognition, or the correctness of the AI's answers.
A note on “invisibility.” Excluding the overlay from screen capture is a technical feature that does not work in every situation. It is reliable when the screen is shared through a browser and on older versions of macOS, but on modern macOS with native screen-share clients the overlay may be visible. In addition, there are proctoring and behavioral monitoring systems that can detect the use of third-party software regardless of whether the window is visible. We do not guarantee that your use of the Service will remain unnoticed or undetected. Do not rely on “invisibility” as a guarantee.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or reputational harm, nor for the consequences of the decisions and actions you take using the Service (including the outcomes of interviews, exams, and hiring). In any event, the Operator's total liability is limited to the amount you actually paid for the Service over the last three months.
9. Intellectual property
All rights to the app, website, design, texts, logos, and other Service materials belong to the Operator. These Terms grant you no rights to them beyond a limited license to use the app for its intended purpose. Content that the AI generates at your request, you may use for your own purposes, subject to Section 4.
10. Suspension and termination of access
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if these Terms are breached — in particular, in the event of cracking or bypassing licensing, sharing a key with third parties, abusing the infrastructure, or using the Service for unlawful purposes. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time by contacting us.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the update noted. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.
12. Governing law
The relationship between you and the Operator is governed by the law of the Operator's place of establishment, unless mandatory rules of your jurisdiction require otherwise. The parties will seek to resolve disputes through negotiation.
