Privacy Policy
This Policy explains what data the Vizir Service (the macOS and Windows apps, the website, and your dashboard) processes, why and on what legal basis, who it's shared with, and how you can control it. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. Terms are used with the meaning defined in the Terms of Use.
In short. Interview audio is processed in real time and isn't stored on our servers. Third-party AI service keys live only on the server — they aren't baked into the app. In companion mode, only text is sent to your second device, and it's end-to-end encrypted; the audio itself stays on your device.
1. What data we process
- Account data. When you sign in with Telegram — your Telegram ID, username, and display name, passed by the Telegram login widget. When you register by email — your email address and password (the password is stored only as a cryptographic hash; we never see it in plain text).
- License and device. Your license key and a technical device identifier (fingerprint), needed to enforce one key — one device.
- Payment data. The fact and details of a payment (plan, billing period, subscription status) received from the payment provider. We never receive or store your card details — the provider handles them. For crypto payments, we process the on-chain transaction address/ID.
- Usage data. The number of speech-recognition minutes used in the period — to track your plan's limit.
- Technical data. The minimum necessary service logs of requests to the server (for example, to prevent abuse and diagnose failures).
2. Audio, transcript, and screenshots
During a session, the app captures system audio and the microphone on your device and streams the audio in real time to a third-party speech recognition service to produce text. We don't store audio recordings on our servers — the stream is processed on the fly. The transcript is shown in the app and used as context to generate hints; it isn't meant for long-term storage on our side.
If you attach a screenshot of a task, the image is sent to an AI model to read its contents and produce an answer. Don't attach material you don't have the right to share with third parties.
3. Companion mode
In companion mode, hints are mirrored to a second device through a cloud relay. Only end-to-end encrypted text passes through the relay: the encryption keys live only on your devices, and the relay sees nothing but encrypted traffic. In this mode the audio never leaves your Mac.
4. Third-party services
To make the Service work, we rely on third-party processors. When we share data with them, they act under their own privacy policies:
- Speech recognition service (STT) — converting audio to text in real time.
- AI model provider — generating hints and solutions, and reading images.
- Payment provider Tribute — processing card payments and subscriptions; the blockchain network — for crypto payments.
- Cloudflare — hosting the server infrastructure, the license database, and the website.
We share with these services only what's necessary for them to do their job, and we don't sell your data.
5. Why we process data
- to provide and maintain the Service (speech recognition, hints, overlay, companion);
- to identify your account and enforce one key — one device licensing;
- to take payment, manage your subscription, and track plan limits;
- to keep things secure, prevent abuse and tampering, and diagnose failures;
- to meet our obligations under the Terms of Use and the requirements of the law.
6. Retention and storage periods
Account data, licenses, and payment details are kept for as long as your account exists and as long as it's needed to provide the Service and comply with the law. The audio stream and transcript aren't stored with us permanently. Service logs are kept for a limited time. When an account is deleted, we delete or anonymize the data associated with it, except for what we're required to retain by law.
7. Cookies and analytics
The marketing site uses Yandex Metrica, a web analytics service by Yandex LLC. It sets cookies and collects anonymized visit statistics: pages viewed, referral source, device and browser, approximate region, and on-page interactions (including session replay — Webvisor). This data helps us understand how the site is used and cannot identify you personally. It is processed by Yandex under its privacy policy. You can opt out with a tracker blocker, the "Do Not Track" setting, or by disabling cookies — the site remains fully functional. The dashboard uses only strictly necessary technical means (for example, a session/access token) without which signing in and using it would be impossible. There are no advertising trackers and no sale of data.
8. Your rights
You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or deletion, and to withdraw consent and stop using the Service. To do so, contact us using the details below. You can manage your subscription and license in your dashboard.
9. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organizational safeguards: encryption of data in transit, storing third-party service keys only on the server (not in the app), password hashing, and end-to-end encryption of text in companion mode. No method of transmitting or storing data is completely secure — we can't guarantee one-hundred-percent protection.
10. Children
The Service is intended for people over 18 and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect data from minors.
11. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy. The current version is always available on this page along with its update date. We'll make an effort to notify users of any material changes.
