Where the overlay won't help
We don't promise invisibility everywhere. During browser screen sharing (Google Meet, web Zoom and Teams) the overlay isn't captured. In native clients on macOS 15 and during local screen recording it can be visible - that's what the phone companion is for. Against webcam proctoring (HackerRank Proctoring, Proctorio and similar) the overlay does not help. If in doubt, don't risk it.
